Multiple Summoner Decks for fast switching

Create decks with different characters or even same summoners in multiple decks or allow to bind F6 - F12 to different summoners

Who doesn't have more than 4 summoners they use on a map?

Imagine the time saved if you had Deck 1 bound to F6 where you have your Tower Apprentice, Fortify Squire, Aura Monk and Trap Hunter to build your map then quickly at the last moment switch to your Deck 2 bound to F7 when you'd like to have, your DPS apprentice, Block Squire Dragon, DPS Huntress, and DPS Monk. without going into character panel then swapping each and every character out.

Or switch to a deck to help powerlevel between 4 summoners under 90.

Option to Announce Ogre's, Sharks, Djinn, etc

Not having ogres or any specific mob being announced or pinged when it spawns makes survival rounds a little unpredictable, or makes the players not know why they lost.

Having a DD1-ish way of announcing certain enemies would be useful. And it's the best of both worlds if it's togglable.

Press a key to rotate through stacked towers to upgrade,sell,or repair.

In DD1 you could press a key to rotate through towers that were stacked (like auras and traps) that were placed in the same position. DDA would most likely benefit from this feature similarly to prevent the hassle of looking upwards to edit auras, or placing towers separately.

Leader Enemies

Leader Enemies can spawn in every enemie class and will will be bigger and have most likely more health than the normal enemies ontop of that they could get a unique skin and should get atleast 1 new attack or boost other enemies in the same class in some way that are close to them for example

-Goblin Leaders can increase the max damage of goblins nearby and have higher priority on the towers so they get the most damage before the goblins around him get targeted -Dark Elf Archer Leaders should have increased range and shoot multiple arrows with increased damage and target multiple defenses at once with like a 3 shot attack -Kobold Leaders should spawn with multiple kobolds around him that try to protect him because when he explodes near defenses he will do a big explosion and hit hard -Dark Elf Mage Leaders will have a constant healing aura for skeletons around him and is summoning them non stop -Dark Elf Warrior Leaders spawn with a set of thier own warriors that all stay together have a low tower prority and go for the players in the game with increased health and damage -Wyvern Leaders will be very big and speed up the other wyverns while staying infront of them and protect them that all of them can reach the defenses and crystals -Orc Leaders should be more tanky and be slower but increase the walking and attack speed of other orcs nearby and they themselves should stay back and throw thier own axe like a boomerang and it comes back to them -Skelton Leaders should be immortal until thier dark elf summoner dies and can not be damaged because they are literally dead -Ogre Leaders should ignore players completly and go straight to the crystal and do increased damage to defenses in the way but because you can't get thier attention and they are bigger and fatter ;) they move slower -Spider Leaders spawn in doors and spawn thier alot of thier own small spider workers that have increased damage and will try to web all defenses in the lane of the spider leader -Djinn Leaders have thier own smaller djinns and work together to sell defenses faster or give other enemies a faster boost or even boost multiple enemies at the same time that are in the area -Shark Leaders should be very tanky increase the speed of thier sharks around them and give them more or even infinte stamina so they don't need to stop and breath for a second -Goblin Copter Leaders should bring in multiple ogres at once instead of only one and can shoot more homing rockets and have a low priority for towers because they also don't target towers -Siren Queens should atleast target 1 player and kill him before she starts to go away this will ofc be very hard if hardcore is active also she should be activly moving and even trying to aviod being hit but also should be targetable by towers

this all is of course subject to change and just some ideas to increase the difficulty in other ways than just increase the health of all enemies and make tower weaker and will make the gameplay more dynamic and interesting

Give Checkmarks for lower difficultys if you already beat it at a higher one

A Flaming Sword Cursor

Have an option for something like DD1's cursor instead of the regular mouse cursor or simply replace the current one with it.

Why is it needed: It's a flaming sword that you can swing around by moving your cursor, that's awesome. What does it bring to the table: Infinite possibilities with your clicking thanks to the flaming power of your sword cursor. Who would profit from it: Everyone, everyone would profit from having a flaming sword instead of a regular cursor.

Option to auto switch to hero of your choice at start of combat phase.

An invisible hero slot where you select which hero you want to be when the combat phase begins. I say invisible because it could be a hero in your deck of 4, or one not in your deck of 4. If they are in your deck, they get xp, if they are not, they don't get xp.

This feature would allow the following...

  1. Building to the last possible second before the timer runs out and not having to worry about getting back to your dps character.
  2. Not accidentally picking your builder huntress instead of your dps huntress.
  3. Being able to have 4 builders in your deck without having to constantly keeep adjusting your deck. So you can build with all the base defenses without ever having to adjust your deck.
  4. Being able to dps on a fully leveled character, while keeping all 4 of your hero slots for characters that need xp.

This would also be a toggle. So you don't have to auto switch if you don't want to.

Steampunk new hero

First tower :

Barb Wire - can be extended similar to what EV beams are in DD2 in a straight line only though, since it is a barb wire fence mobs walking through would take physical damage. It would be cool that when a prton beam or electric aura touches it the barb fence adds electric damage on top of the physical damage (would be cool to me at least)

Second Tower :

Claymore - it would be like placing 2 nodes, from dd2 on EV. first one would be the tripwire to trigger the explosive and the claymore could possibly be on a timer so after it's triggered mobs take time to get into the blast radius. for the range it would be like maybe a 75 degree arc (might be too wide i dont know) and range stat would only increase the distance of damage.

Third Tower :

Minigun Turret - im thinking minigun turret (does not target air units), this turret would also take on the property of the heros weapon damage type and heros weapon projectile type. probably cost extra DU for these bonuses because multiple projectiles can be OP.

Fourth Tower :

Rocket Turret - anti air only, AOE blast as well, im thinking maybe instead of rockets it can be a Flak Cannon so it would be a spread of explosions in the air - i think something like this would be awesome in dda since we dont yet have specific anti air only turret/tower/trap/aura.

Abilities:

im not sure about abilities but one ability could be a "repair/replenish" what this would do is act in a similar manner as monks dd1 ability that boosted and healed towers but instead it would heal and replenish auras/traps. of course it would not be instant and done over time and in a radius around the hero. Also the longer this ability would be active the more ability power it would use up depleting it quicker over time. Another addition is to have a secondary cooldown on the ability power spent so it doesnt reset with the main cooldown and therefore make it harder to spam. in invisible timer that gets reset over time.

for boost, the hero would take out a wrench and when you click on a single tower that towers stats get boosted for the duration with a long cooldown. this would increase all 4 tower stats so i wouldnt want this on a small cooldown to prevent it from being OP and abused.

thats my idea for this hero.

New Hero Phalanx

Heavily armored unit with a phalanx type tower shield and a polearm, uses monk polearm's but can only use them as melee.

Left click: Normal melee attack. Right click: Shield bash (Heavy Damage ability scales off of Weapon damage/weapon speed*((F Stat + C stat)/multiplier) EG at 3000 F and 3000 C it does 8x weapon damage. Cool down is 10 seconds with the slowest weapon and 6 seconds with the fastest weapon.

Hero default bonuses: Weapon size of equipped weapon is 60% bigger with 60% more melee range.

Tank: 8/10 Damage 7/10 Speed 5/10

Abilities: F: Sweep: Swings his polearm in a circle knocking enemies back by 4 meters doing moderate damage. (scales off weapon damage/weapon speed*(F stats) EG: at 3000 F stats its weapon damage x 5. Similiar cool down to right click. C: Hunker Down: Drains Mana/s slams his shield into the ground and holds the line: Damage is reduced by (C Stat). Damage is increased for left click and right click by (C stat) and F ability changes to spear thrust which adds the stats of both F and C for damage calculations using F's damage multiplier.

Shouts (AOE Buffs to allies and Debuffs to enemies)

1: Chilling Shout: Lesser enemies freeze in fear for 5 seconds. (Helps Trebuchet's land hit's on lesser enemies and lets the tougher enemies through so the archers can focus them more) 2: Roar of Pride: Increases nearby allies move speed and attack speed. (O man would love to see what Guille could come up with for this.)

Towers (More than 3 would end up being like Squire with only a few good and some never used.) Maybe squire can get some shouts too :P

3: Brazier Archers: Slow firing heavy hitting fiery arrows. (Fast projectile speed) 4 DU 4: Moat of oil: Size of a blockade costs 1 DU and slows enemies by up to 90% while in it's tiny area. (If enemies in the Moat of oil get hit by fire arrows they burn for 3x the Arrow damage over 6 seconds.) 5: Trebuchet: Long range slow firing aoe tower, physical damage. 12 DU Massive AOE otherwise it will miss everything.

Physical damage is going to outscale any elemental dps build when survival comes out so it would be nice to have:

Genie: Current Mana every few seconds. 30% to 60% cooldown reduction on abilities based on attack speed of weapon. (slow weapon having the lowest cool down, fast having the highest cooldown.) Hero abilities now scale off of elemental damage instead of physical damage. + X% to 2X% fire damage (fast weapon has the lowest added fire damage while slow weapon has the highest added fire damage.)

(slow weapon having the lowest cool down, fast having the highest cooldown.) Hero abilities now scale off of elemental damage instead of physical damage. + X% to 2X% electric damage (fast weapon has the lowest added fire damage while slow weapon has the highest added fire damage.)

New hero idea: A dragonewt swashbuckler

A hero based on fast melee attack and defense with towers that focus on changing the battle in the heat of the moment by being able to be built fast but lack lasting power aka "glass cannons" but at the sametime the hero himself has abilites which one could potentially boost his stats overall for a certain period of time(draconian empowering) and the other 2 could be a fury slash capable of stunning enemies hit long enough and wings that gust smaller enemies back and slow bigger ones(potentially pushing them off cliffs).

Tower fuse

Option to fuse 2 diferent or same tower and make a stronger one In case of 2 diferent tower, the new tower will have the effect of the 2 towers with new calculated dmg and range, depend the tower u used. Two of the same, give u a stronger one

To fuse u need to have both towers full upgrade and a huge mana cost, like 4k ou 5k

The DU cost will be a little lower, if u have 2 fireballs = 10 DU if u build a Fuse fireball = 9

Give the last 3 or 5 Enemies a Glowing Outline that is visible through walls

This is is just to better find the last few Spiders that are on a Crystal or stuck Enemies in a hidden corner somewhere or outside the map

Also an Option to Enable and Disable this would probably a few People appreciate that don't want to use it

Improved way to repair/upgrade auras

In DD1 u can heal auras by being inside or closer to the aura. All the aura it self can be used as a tower to get upgraded or repaired. At this way you don't have to aim to the icons when you have 30000 mobs on you :)

Quick play/random map with bonuses

So one thing that always bugged me with DD1 and now DDA was that eventually all you ended up doing was farming one or two maps for very specific reasons, IE glitterhelm survival for loot, pure strat for exp. Mines for early game exp ect ect.

I think it would be a killer idea for the game, if you added a random map feature to the game, where you queue up in your tavern, or in the browser and then you basically wait in your tavern until you want to start the game, and in the browser it shows up as a random map group.

When you start you are then tossed into a random map, and no matter what map you get, you are given large bonuses to loot, and exp gained from it. This could be a mode in both pure strat and survival and wave 15 of random does not matter which map it is, you get a new "Random map" pet, with of course wave 25 still dropping the giraffe.

Again the goal here is to make is to taht the game does not devolve into constantly doing the exact same maps for all eternity.

So you have a Visual Indicator what Filter does is for what search just a QoL improvement for the future :)

Atleast 4 Hero Weapons 4 Accesorries Armor Types Stat Pet, Attack Pet, Buff Pet

I think this should cover most stuff

Notes for inventory management

Give us the option to put notes on our equipment. Such as Squire Walls. Apprentice DST. Simple Notes nothing too long, even if it was 10-25 characters it would cover our ability to manage our inventory better.
